OK, so I am home sick today with this raging sinus infection and I'm bored. What to do but

This is Max or sometimes referred to as "Cat No 1".

He was a rescue cat from our vet's office. I adopted him shortly after we had to put down our Basset Hound "Jezebel" and our black/white tabby "Whiskers".

He is about 3 1/2 and pretty much Dad's boy. Not much of a people cat, he avoids my wife like the plague. I'm pretty sure that is had something to do with a broom and a mess made behind her dresser a year ago or so.
